What Is Our Denomination?

We are a non-denominational church. This does not mean that we are anti-denominational or unaccountable. It simply means that we are not formally aligned with an established denomination. We wish to be evaluated by you for who we are and what you believe God can offer you through us. We encourage those who attend to regularly pray for the success of other churches in this community and throughout the world. We are co-laborers serving Christ. God's kingdom is much larger than the local church.

To provide accountability, the leadership of Heart Song has placed itself under the authority of Senior Pastor Dave LaChance. He is the founder of Christian Hill Community Church in West Warwick, Rhode Island. Under his leadership Christian Hill has grown steadily over the past twenty years. His focus on family values and making the Word of God applicable to life's diverse situations are principals that Heart Song aspires to emulate.
